For the final project of my UNLV Advanced Illustrator class, we were tasked with creating an illustration of our choosing using all of the skills we’ve been taught. I opted to create an original, short comic. Hence, Halenstorm – an epic hero with an even more epic imagination – was born. And yes, Halenstorm was inspired by the late, great Eddie Van Halen.

In curating this portfolio, I decided that instead of inundating it with piece after piece, I’d put Halenstorm front and center as it’s my best representative work, showcasing a lot of the skills I acquired at UNLV.
