The Sig Slayersare aficionados of comic book culture. Their social media includes interviews with comic artists, personalities, and industry insiders; legendary stories of their adventures in tracking down signatures; and lots of comic book art, all presented with their distinct flavor and style.

THE PLAN
All their content is found across multiple social media platforms. As their business and online presence is growing, they decided that it’s time to add a website to their portfolio.
They’ve graciously allowed me to document the process while the project is ongoing.
The Process...
Step 1 – Rough Sketches (selections)
They already had an idea of what they want, and were able to provide some rough sketches. I told them to put down on paper their vision of what the site would ideally look like. No limits, no boundaries. Let their imaginations run wild. Then, I’d determine what was possible and adjust the design in subsequent drafts. They provided close to 20 sketches.
Step 2 – Wireframes (selections)
And the process is ongoing…
I’m close to creating digital mockups. Updates will be posted as the project progresses.
UPDATE: This site is live (www.sigslayers.com)! I’ll post more digital roughs and mockups from earlier parts of the process soon. But please, head on over there, enjoy the site, maybe even give the Sig Slayers a follow!
